About

Formerly a Wildlife Biologist with a decade of experience in Natural Resources, Joseph J. Albanese is now in the midst of a successful second career in written communications. His past vocation had taken him from the shadow of the Empire State Building to the rugged remoteness of the Alaskan Bush, with experiences as varied as the terrain he has covered. As a writer for hire, his bylines have appeared in Field & Stream, Outdoor Life, The Flyfish Journal, American Angler, Eastern Fly Fishing, as well as scientific and clinical publications. One of his pieces garnered the attention of a National Public Radio journalist who called his work ‘highly lucid.’ As an editor, he has toiled behind the scenes at a number of national publications, overseeing the creation of content that successfully builds engagement.
